Cat Ba National Park experiences a tropical monsoon climate, influenced by its coastal location. During the summer months, temperatures can soar up to 30°C, while in the winter, temperatures range from 15-20°C. The ideal time to visit is between April and November, when the weather is dry and sunny, with temperatures averaging around 25°C. If possible, try to visit in October or November, as these months offer the best conditions for hiking and outdoor activities.

 

It is best to avoid the rainy season, which typically lasts from November to March. During this period, the trails can become slippery, and boat trips may be canceled due to rough sea conditions. To ensure the most enjoyable experience, plan your trip during the dry season, when the weather is more predictable and conducive to exploring the park.
